Gravey Train Entry, (rules of engagement)
On your entry at 157.20. I dought very much if this entry would ever be caught in live trading conditions.
REASON. The Bull Bar where you entered at 157.20 has not completed therefor you do not know whether the trend has changed or not until that 1hr candle closes. Once completed the following candle never retraced, so would be very unlikely to get that entry. reality is you would wait for confirmation of a break/close above 1.5761. Bull candle breakout, 2 small read candle , follow by the third candle which retraces to about 1.5770ish. This is where you would probably enter or at best you would enter bull bar close above 1.5761 zone. With stop below near your first take profit at 1.5737 area.
Can you please explain briefly how you would enter at 157.20???? And do you know a reversal is happening??
I like this method, but so far I see nothing new.

Looks like a sound system based on what I have been reading on High Probability Trading.

I have also enjoyed the videos and the text that accompanies them. Perhaps I have missed something in all of this grandeur but I would really like to know a few nuts and bolts. Things like how often per day these trades can be found? What is the average number of pips per winning trade? What is the potential maximum drawdown?
Please pardon me for asking these things but they are fundamental to evaluating a trading system in my opinion.

Numerous key elements that I really like;
1. Simple, visual cues that are easily recognizable.
2. Indicators on the chart do not clutter and overcome the trader with “noise” that requires deciphering.
3. Scanning capability with an alarm – enables the trader to stay away from the screen – yet still be able to react when the alarm sounds – bit like the minuteman in early US history.
4. Scanning also clearly recommends “Hold” signal – to stop traders from focussing on other trades which are unsuitable at that time – or – still moving into trading set-ups.
5. The machine is constantly scanning – a bit like an “all-weather-radar” — the trader can still be active in other work or play nearby – and not miss high value trades – a critical element for me.
6. Clear indicators for optimal entry points and stop-loss levels — the combination time screens also enhance the traders ability to avoid those ’stop-loss-traps’ that the big institutions are sometimes known to use – simply to break small retail traders, false double-bottoms/tops etc..
7. Early appearances suggest that there is not a massive learning curve – with hours of study – requiring complex and sophisticated skill development before the trader can go “live” and begin a new ‘career.’
8. Ideal for people put out of work in the current GFC – or – through injuries etc….

1. What percent of the time when rules are followed are the trades successful?
2. What is the win to loss ratio?
3. Over a certain period of time what has been the number of consecutive winning trades and the number of consecutive losing trades?
4. What has been the maximum peak to valley draw down?

Love what I’m seeing!
1. Do you have some kind of statistical back testing results that would show the % of alerts that would have given a profit given a reasonable broker spread, etc. If it didn’t reach the TP levels then & the market revesersed to the stop loss, log that loss. Also, given this TP 1, 2, & 3. What would it be like to run the system against last year and find out how much would have wound up in each of those categories. Given an initial investment of say $3000.00 and a different one of 10,000 for each of the trade types (gravy train…) ??? Another way to ask this is, “How many of those buy/sell signals would have _reversed_ before the TP 1, and/or TP 2, and/or TP 3, and caused a loss? Thanks!!!

2. TRADE MANAGER in software? I already have a career I’m passionate about and only have 1/2 hour to 1 hour per day to invest. I also am gone at times & can’t run to the computer every time I hear an alert, so is there some kind of TRADE MANAGER (i.e. robot or better!) that given criteria of type of trade(s) I want to make (half-pike, channel hopping, … or all), given my account balance and minimum margin auto calc lot sizes to TP #1, 2, 3, with proper stop losses based on the rest of the system info, etc. and buy those and sell those automatically for me.
3. Given your TP 1, 2, 3, it would be nice if the TRADE MANAGER also kept some kind of history of how much actually went into TP 1, 2, & 3 so I could pull up a report on that.

You are trying to be too analytical about the 1.5720 entry…It was an actual trade I made so yes I really entered at 1.5720…I basically buy and sell bias and key levels all day long once a set up occurs. I really feel this will be a great winner the reason are followings:
1. Joes Bias and Key numbers are benchmark.
2. Software going to scan and give us in plate which one to go for i.e great lot of human emotion exhaust before coming correct trade to enter.
3. Gary’s rule of engagement are simpler, when to enter, 1st take profit, 2nd take profit with number of pips of channel i.e difference between key number and bias number.
4. Everybody knows pulling trigger i.e enter into trade at right time with minimum stop loss without too much anger, greed and fear that I beleive one of the great point because in trading that is more important things. i.e why 2% succeeding and Forex mastery keeps you on the right side of trade.
5. Management team including Brett and entire team are very sharp that what really trader wants to take consistent profit most of time and enhance better than best. e.g sharp scanner
6. I am reasonably peak time of London and Newyork session are trading for last 1 year
but most of time good trades are missing.
7. Want honest opinion that how much % is losing trade after all signal are aligning in scalping and day trading.
8. If price is reasonable than going to be Apple of Forex market.
9. I would like to enhance if management team wants my 3 additional points as a humble opinion and can be highest good for traders and company and forex community as whole.

He is absolutely correct, and it would a testimony to your system if you clearly answered his question, namely; how did you chose the entry point? Your positition of the dialogue box in the video screen obscures any of the technical data that might be there to show you did not arbitrarily chose this entry. I doubt I would have gotten in there, based on the limited info available.
So, how DID your system select the entry? What does the system provide that would supercede my own judgement, and why?

I like everything I see.
Would like to see some kind of backtesting (realizing it doesn’t guarantee future performance) that would show for each type of trade (scalping, day, …) given a reasonable broker spread, what percentage would have had a profit, reached Take Profit #1, TP2, TP3? What would have been the net result for each of those for last year and this year?
Also, I have a career I’m passionate about so can’t spend time at the computer every day watching how trades progress… so do you have some kind of TRADE MANAGER that with several parameters to calculate lot size given the margin available and given the setup for TP 1, TP2, & TP3, and calc stop losses and even move the stop loss given paramenters I configure…? Also, If there were some reporting the TRADE MANAGER generated that I could see for all my trades, how much was in fact in the TP1, TP2, TP3 nest???

All that I have tried has had pges of hype telling how great the system is, but I have not found even one that lives up to the claims. I have been seeking a reliable, proven system for some time. In the last six months a plethora of systems (including robots) have been introduced,some I have tried but none excelled. I have been testing using demo accounts, but would like to confidently open a live account as an additional income to my social security(which no longer looks safe in the future!) Your system

I did some trading like this some years ago. Plotted the 8-1-3, 16-1-3 and 32-1-3 slow stochastics together. then used yearly and monthly pivot points to trade. tried also to get a Macd sympathizing. My problem was: having the patient to wait for the right entry, having a good exit strategy and sticking with a good money-management plan. I have lost all my money so far, so I need to earn capital to start over. Your course have all the things I missed then. So if you are still around when I have the money, I will buy the course, because I know from my own experience that your entries will work, and with your moneymanagement and exitstrategies this is a winner. thanks a lot!

I have been a futures trader for the past 15 years. In the past 18 months, I have taken a look at the forex market and what is being offered as education courses for the forex market as well as support after a course is purchased. Until now, I have seen nothing that has enticed me to consider trading forex. There have been entirely too many gapping holes and unanswered questions for me to consider trading forex. Your product appears to be different. Your videos show a well thought out trading process. I am impressed. I have two to three questions I would like to ask not covered in your videos before purchasing.

I agree with Paul Stevenson post #10. Your example doesn’t make sense for the gravy train. your placing your trade and stop before the bullish engulfing pattern has developed. How can you enter a trade after the fact. If you can do that with your software it’s worth millions!! If your going to use patterns as examples make sure they make sense. obviously you would have entered on the next candle after the bullish engulfing pattern. You still would have hit your early targets but your stop rule would have been breached. Too much risk, by your rules of engagement.

Looks like a great opportunity but like most programs I’ve found for the Forex market it will be too expensive for the average joe to even consider.

ok…i am new to the forex market and i have watched all 4 videos now,more than once. you say it’s so easy a 10 year old could do it? i am from missouri…so show me…i…knowing very very little about forex …would love a copy of this to see if it is really idiot proof…basically you are saying it is virtually just that.
i unfortunately have to be at work on the railroad tomorrow and have no internet on the tracks…plus it’s against company/federal rules to be anyway for personal use.
so i there a way..since your email stated you only ordered 1000 copies….to reserve a package for myself? i will start at 0600 and work untilabout 1800…is there anything you can do to help me here become a success in forex…ie,using your system….since i will apparently miss your launch,and your supply is small?

it seems to be logical in the basis….but i too have read all these comments from experienced traders…looks like you have your work cut out for you to impress these folks.

ok…i have to admit something…maybe i can learn from this.
as i have read through all these comments there are a few of you going on about garys swing trade entry.
i have looked that part over and over again,and according to all the videos that have been put on this page…i have but one question…dont you all listen with an open mind?
in first coming to trade fx…i read alot of text on it…and one of the first things that everyone tells us is….hold on…when you basically have twin candlesticks…IT IS A SIGN OF A POSSIBLE T.R.E.N.D. CHANGE!!!!
now if you continue to look at thier system of indicators….the trnd lines…the near bias level…the system alerting him to a possible trade…and put that with…as gary says….THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT….which they all say alot in these videos…it makes sense that HE…who has been using this system and working the bugs out….decided to make his trade at that level.
now if we are all looking at a system of indicators to help us trade easier and more accurate…why would we over analys a trade.
i mean you all seem to possibly know what your talking about here as i am a mere beginner…but as a supervisor of a billion dollar corp. i know not to over analys a situation and miss out.
maybe sometimes we just need to follow our guts,have some faith,take a chance and just jump…instead of trying to sound so smart.
as they say….K.I.S.S.

After watching all the exciting videos, I’m so excited with the way the software and trading method work. Waiting to see more real trade and pattern coming allow the way. Tiring to sit in front of the monitor just to wait for a profitable trade! My trading life will change with ForexMastery system. It’s time to forget about the Big Ben’s bailout plans, ForexMastery is going to “bail me out” from the hard time!

I’m very new to Forex and have been very hesitant to trade without the proper knowledge and tools. I opened a Forex account over one month ago and have not executed one single trade.
I am exited about the possibility of finding a system that I can work with. So much confusion.

My wife and I are approaching our 60s, and have little work time left to recover from the devastation wreaked on the market (and our retirement funds) by the despicable and scandalous behavior of so many “well-respected” financial institutions (e.g., brokerages, banks, and credit card offerors)… and the role of too many in the equally despicable private sector, the auto industry in the US being a prime example, along with not FAT, but GROSSLY OBESE corporate executive thieves. (Not to mention our ignorant, lazy, financial regulatory systems and fat-cat regulators.)
With much of our future invested in TIAA-CREF and its crappy limited funds (even during the current rebound), the lack of online access to our own subaccounts for multiple weeks after many calls, and support staff that don’t even know how to navigate their own website, we have to make a dramatic but intelligent investment strategy change immediately, or 10 years from now we will be unable to afford anything resembling a rational, much less comfortable retirement, after so many years of hard work.
As a PhD researcher with strong statistical skills I have committed the past 6 months to understanding Forex, which to me has great potential for salvaging our preferred future in retirement by carefully studying every Forex document, website, webinars, academic papers, and the plethora of tools from robots to systems such as yours. Probably like many that have found your site, I have spend WAY too much money on hyped tools, “secret” (yeah right) Forex settings, and training junk put together by “Ad Men” (with bad taste in website design and great knowledge of how to manipulate the web so that they appear to be on everyone’s “Hit Parade), and no-name Forex “experts”.
For the last 2 months, I have been running a demo account, allowing me to see what tools and knowledge I have acquired work, and which do not. Working from my home office and sleeping from 4am to 9am most days, my eyes have been glued to my screens for many hours each day, to the point where I am becoming permanently cross-eyed.
The good news, however, is that after much trial and error in pair trading, using highly divergent expert recommendations, tools (including au currant robots), my statistical background, common sense, and keeping careful logs of different trading approaches, I came up with my “own” strategy, and for the past 2 months have been enjoying poking my wife in her sleep when I crawl into bed at 4am ish… whispering “made XXXX PRETEND $ today on Forex”, acknowledged by growling for rousing her, and utterances like “GREAT-zzzzzzz”.
Here is the punch line. Whether by luck or way too much education, out of the vast array of indicators to help in decision-making, I have settled (to the greatest degree) on those that YOU use, and make similar buy/sell decisions based on them that you recommend! Watching your videos tonight (now 5am), I am totally blown away, and had to write you NOW!
While compared to many who want to do FOREX “right”, the months I have spent is a pittance of time. Given how close your strategy is to my empirical forward testing and decision-making, FOREX MASTERY and your new M3 Forex Navigator software seems to have great potential for saving my eyesight, and holds out a future, when we might be in a position to be able to afford an occasional trip and walks down moon-lit beaches hand-in-hand, rather than digging for clams to feed our empty bellies.
Over the years I have done beta testing for numerous software companies offering high-end statistical packages, DBMS systems, graphics and charting add-ons for products like MS Excel, etc., and they keep coming back because I feel obligated to give high quality feedback about problems or issues, or potentially important enhancements.
I would be honored to work with and test your products and provide feedback that is evidence-based through my testing and real-time use.
After two months of sleeping wife whispers, I am currently under threat of life termination, if I do not get off of the “proverbial pot”, and go live, and successfully! My initial “nut” is $10K to start live, although I will likely allocate it incrementally after proof of sustainable success, and would love to kiss TIAA-CREF goodbye, pulling out additional funds (at whatever cost) if the benefits trounces TIAA-CREF junk, as I confidently believe.
Will I purchase your offerings? Truthfully, given what I anticipate will be the returns, the price(s) will prove to be “rounding error”, so it’s hard to imagine not joining your tribe, since our philosophies and approaches seem to be so closely in sync. I say that, by the way, without having any clue what the cost of your products are, or even if you went live recently, as anticipated – homework I will do this weekend.

Once I get through Forex Mastery, I am going live… no doubt about it. From what I read and watched on your site tonight, I actually gained insights into why my empirically selected approach has been working very nicely for me in practice, I also picked up some very useful tips on important subtleties (for example setting optimal stop loss orders) and expect that Mastery will be complete the end of my initial learning and training journey, and earn me 4am hugs based on bank account enhancing early successes, not wifely moans and grunts about my demo experiences.
My ethical responsibility as a researcher is to learn the “truth” and to pass it along with evidence to others. I have had a ball for 6 months… but the time for reality and action is NOW. Early adopters of competent innovations do good deeds, and I am a good deed doer!
